Donna Sue Allen Reavis

Mrs. Donna Sue Allen Reavis, 73 of Thomasville passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born September 26, 1950 in Guilford County to the late Charles Henry Allen and Helen Ruth Jones Allen. Donna worked several years for Sears Distribution in Greensboro, before later moving to Winston Salem, then to Thomasville in 2004. She was an avid gardener; even being named, Davidson County Master Gardener. In her younger years, she thoroughly enjoyed cross-stitching. Donna’s greatest joy in life was the time spent with her family and devoting time to care for her precious grandchildren. She was the definition of a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Allen Vickers.

Surviving is her loving husband of 40 years, Ronald Foster Reavis of the home; one son, Alan Ronald Reavis and wife Shuntele Antonio Reavis; two brothers, David Allen and wife Pam, Darien Allen, and wife Terri; three grandchildren, Madison Ysabella Reavis, Savannah Halley Reavis, and Jefferson Ronald Reavis; brother-in-law, Thomas Felix Reavis. She also leaves behind her beloved fur baby, Muttley of the home.

A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. A private burial of cremains will take place at Dulin United Methodist Church in Davie County.
