Donnie Lee Hill

Mr. Donnie Lee Hill, 72, of Thomasville passed away peacefully Thursday, September 15, 2022 at his home after a courageous 3-month fight with pancreatic cancer. Donnie was born September 10,1950 in Davidson County to Lindsay Arnold Hill and Marshaline Hill. He was a beloved husband, father and friend. He was preceded in death by both parents, beloved wife Brenda Sue Hill on March 29, 2017, beloved son, Lindsay Lemont Hill on December 2, 2008; sisters, Pamela Greer, Pattty Stintson; brother, Jerry Wayne Hill, Tony Hill.

Donnie leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Marsha Galyean and husband Tony of Lexington; stepdaughter, Dreama Tate and husband Wayne of Hilllsville, Virginia; sister Donna Hill; five grandchildren, Isaac Galyean, Lindsey Galyean, Haylee Galyean, Mary Hill, Gracie Tate. Donnie also cherished time with two little ones Samson and Madalyn Everhart, and a host of friends who will cherish his memory. Marsha would like to express her gratitude to everyone who helped her care for her father during his sickness, especially Lisa Gauldin and Sharon who he thought of as his buddies.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev.Russel Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Community Baptist Church in Lexington. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville.
