Dorothy Rothrock Hilton was born on August 14, 1931, and she went to be with Jesus on September 10, 2025.
She would want everyone to remember her as a woman who loved God, her family and Wallburg Baptist Church. Her favorite verse of scripture was John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have ever lasting life.”
On her death bed, Mother thanked God for His many blessings. She sang praises to His name. She witnessed to everybody who came into her room and told them “To put Jesus first in their lives.”
A special thank you to Mother’s in home care givers; you each had a special relationship with her that she treasured. To the earth angels at Trellis Supportive Care of Winston-Salem who treated Mother with love and kindness in her last days, we are forever grateful. You are the hands and feet of Jesus.
Memorials can be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 and to Wallburg Baptist Church Senior Citizens Program, 5341 Wallburg Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
Mother will be laid to rest in a private burial at Wallburg Baptist Church Cemetery. J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Wallburg is assisting the Hilton family. Online condolences may be sent to the Hilton family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
