Edgar "Eddie" Eugene Carlton

Edgar “Eddie” Eugene Carlton, 61, of Thomasville passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at Thomasville Medical Center.

Eddie was born May 4, 1964 to the late James E. Carlton and Mary Douglas Carlton of Randolph County. He worked in the furniture industry for many years and Southern Veneer.

In addition to his mother and father, Eddie was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother. Surviving family are his wife, Joan Carter Carlton; a sister Sandy Lewallen and husband Gary of Trinity; many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville with Pastor Jack Hurley, Jr. officiating. J.C. Green and Sons funeral home is honored to serve to family during this time.
