Edna "Gail" (Scott) Reaves

Edna “Gail” Scott Reaves, 71, of Thomasville passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026. Gail was born November 12, 1954 in Forsyth County to the late Roy Lee Scott and Edna Gail Simmons Scott. She worked many years in the furniture industry and worked for Casa Bique Furniture. She was a member of Free Independent Church. She loved spending time with her family and tending to their every need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Lee Dale Scott.

Surviving are her two sons, Frankie Darrell Beck of Lexington and Charles Michael Reaves of Thomasville; five grandchildren, Andrew Scott Beck, Ciara Beck, McKenzie Reaves, Cloie Reaves, and Peyton Reaves; and Three great- grandchildren; and her boyfriend, Donnie Armstrong of Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM in J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Steve Manley officiating. Interment will take place at White Oak Cemetery in Thurmond, North Carolina. The family will greet friends prior to the service starting at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
