Mrs. Elaine Polhemus Talbert, 86 of Trinity, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her residence.

Elaine was born on February 26, 1934 to the late Joseph Van der Veer Polhemus and Muriel Bacon Polhemus in Lansing, MI. She was a graduate of Perry High School in Perry, MI. Elaine was a member of Archdale United Methodist Church in Archdale, NC. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and great G.G. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Marilyn Dawne Polhemus, and Richard Vander Veer Polhemus.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Miles Talbert of the home; three children, Janis Taylor and husband James, Joanne Kindley and husband Terry, Mark Talbert and wife Kathleen; eight grandchildren, Justin, Marc, Zachary, Brittany, Keagan, Tyler, Madelin, Ben; nine great grandchildren; extended family and friends.

No formal service will be held at this time. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County or the charity of your choice. Online condolences can be given to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
