Elfriede Holt Obituary

Mrs. Elfriede Gangwolf Holt, 92, a resident of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

Elfriede was born January 7, 1929 in Munich, Germany, a daughter of the late Peter Ludwig Gangwolf and Maria Neumueller Gangwolf. She had made this area her home for the last sixty-five years. Elfriede was a library technician with the North Davidson public library, loved to sew, read, visit the mountains and listen to music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great- granddaughter, Brittany Danielle Costakis. On October 1, 1948 she married Robert Carl Holt who preceded her in death November 21, 2006.

Surviving is her son, Manfred Holt (Karen) of Winston-Salem; her daughter, Eleanor Bradshaw of Kernersville; grandchildren, Kimberly Michelle Costakis, Angela Holt McCoy (Kevin, Jr.); and great grandchild Olivia Grace McCoy.
