Emiliano "Millie" Santiago Santos Maldonado

Emiliano “Millie” Santiago Santos Maldonado, 8 months old, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC.  Millie was born August 7, 2023 in Orange County, NC.  He is the infant son of Jose David Maldonado Reyes and Victoria Gail Driggers.  During his brief time here on earth, Millie touched many lives and was loved deeply by his family and friends. 

Millie is preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Braddock; his baby sibling, Baby Bean; his cousin Destiney Talley. 

In addition to his parents, Millie is survived by his brother, Isai Santos Maldonado; his grandmother, Melissa Driggers; his grandfather, Stanley Franklin; his grandmother, Marta Reyes; his aunt Kelly Brown and husband, Miguel Santos; his aunt, Penny Driggers; his uncle, Oscar Maldonado; his uncle Dillon Driggers; his cousin Gabriella Santos and many other extended family members. 

The family would like to sincerely thank Heart Moms of the Triad and The Ramirez family for everything they did to help Millie’s family during this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville, with Rev. Kenny Coker, officiating. Burial will follow the service at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com
