Emily Suzanne (Green) Smith

Emily Suzanne Green Smith, 47, of High Point, NC , passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Emily was born July 17, 1977 in Durham County, NC, a daughter of Robert (Bobby) Paul Green, Jr. and Mary Lynn Peace Green and had made this area her home most of her life. Emily was a finance director for Smart Start Education Program. She loved being outside, playing in the creek with her fur babies and Jackson. She loved her fur babies Raleigh and Willow as though they were children. She home schooled Jackson and played foosball tournaments with MacKayla, MacKenzie and Ethan. Emily was married to Bradley Smith who preceded her in death, July 23, 2024. Also preceding her in death are her Maternal Grandparents Kenneth Mack Peace and Peggy Burton Peace.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Bobby and Mary Green, Jr. of the home; her brother, Joshua Green and his wife Andrea of High Point; her paternal grandparents, Robert Paul Green, Sr. and JoAnn S. Green of High Point;  her nieces, MacKenzie Green and her Fiancé Ethan Petroff of High Point, MacKayla Green of High Point;  her nephew, Jackson Green of High Point; her fur babies Raleigh and Willow.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at J.C. Green and Sons Chapel, 10301 N. NC Highway 109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 (Wallburg Community) with Pastor Dewayne Lambeth and Pastor John Sides officiating. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to AARF Dog and Animal Rescue, 302 Thurston Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
