Emma Varner Kindley

Mrs. Emma Varner Kindley, affectionately known as “Granny” and “Emmer”, 87, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at High Point Medical Center.  She was born on January 14, 1933 in Davidson County, NC to Charles Varner and Tishie Hill Varner.  She retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries and was of the Baptist faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings.

Surviving are her children, Harold Kindley and wife Marybeth, Gary Kindley and wife Kim, and Rita Nash and fiancé Jim Hinson; sister, Edna Cecil; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and grand-dogs, Stella, Sophie, and Harley.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Hughes Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Dr. E. Keith Carroll officiating.  Mrs. Kindley will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until the hour of the graveside service.
