Fentress Earl Foley Obituary
Mr. Fentress Earl Foley, 62, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at his home. He was born on July 25, 1962 in Davidson County, NC to Fentress Eldon (Son) Foley and Betty Lee King Ashley, both of whom preceded him in death.
He graduated from Southern Guilford High School and owned and operated Foley Construction. He attended Firelight Baptist Church at Greystone.
On December 9, 1988, he married Cheryl Dougherty Foley, who survives of the home; also surviving are his sisters, Laura Foley Farlow and husband Fred of Lexington, Patsy Foley of Trinity, Shelby Foley of Lexington, Lynn Foley Tate of Sophia, Tammy Morgan of Hickory, Martha Foley Siler and husband Drew of Thomasville, and Stephanie Foley McNair and husband Steve of Dallas, NC; his brothers, Wayne Foley and wife Tammie of Trinity, Fred Ashley and wife Carolyn of Asheboro, and Mark Parnell and wife Sonya of Thomasville; brother-in-law, John “Bubba” Dougherty of the home; and step-mother, Carol Hunt Foley of Thomasville.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Firelight Baptist Church at Greystone with Pastor Fred Ashley officiating.
