Flora Cecil (Stallard) Barneycastle

Flora Stallard Barneycastle, age 83, has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, while at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center. She was born on August 14, 1942, in Coeburn, Virginia to the late Lowell and Gladys Meade Stallard.  Flora was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and was a dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ.  Her greatest joy was the love of her grandchildren and time spent with family.  She was a proud retiree of Pepsi where she worked in marketing.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Barneycastle and a brother, Richard Stallard.

Surviving to forever cherish her memory is her son, Brad Barneycastle and wife Chris of Kernersville; and her three beloved grandchildren, Will, Emmie, and Vivi.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pinnacle, 1989 Perch Road with Rev. Walter Terrell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home, 10301 N. NC Hwy 109, Winston-Salem.
