Frank Monroe Draughn, 84, of Archdale passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at his residence.
Frank was born December 16, 1940 son of the late Seldom Draughn and Eva Queen Draughn of Guilford County. He served his country in the United States Army and following he enjoyed a long career as a woodworker. In addition to his professional career in furniture, Frank had the artistic ability to be a wonderful drawer, carver and was always working with his hands. He loved sports and was a Carolina Tar Heel Fan. Frank will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a son, Scott Draughn; two brothers, Jimmy and Wade Draughn.
Left to honor his memory are his wife of 56 years, Janie Loflin Draughn of the home; a daughter, Leigh Ann Brackett and husband Kenny; two brothers, Bruce Draughn, Larry Draughn and wife Libby; a sister, Peggy Welch and husband Jack; four grandchildren, Brooke Robertson, Tyler Robertson and wife Kathryn, Leah Brackett, Lanie Brackett; three great-grandchildren, Lilly, Annabelle, and Trevor Robertson.
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Church in Thomasville with Rev. Roland Cavanaugh officiating. The burial will be private to the family. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
