Gay Starr (Luck) Floyd

Gay Luck Floyd, 69, of Thomasville passed away Saturday evening August 16, 2025 at Thomasville Medical Center.

Gay was born June 5, 1956 daughter of the late Nolan Wade Luck, Sr. and Mary Lea Wagner Luck of Davidson County. She was a loving wife, mother, and provided a loving home.

In addition to her parents, Gay was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Eugene Floyd, May 25, 2021; her two brothers, Wade Luck, Jr. and Ronnie Luck.

Surviving are her three children, David Kindley (Laisha) of Trinity; Edwin E. Floyd, Jr. of Thomasville and Brenda Michelle Jeffers (Jerry McDowell) of Lexington; a brother, Darrell Luck (Alyson) of SC; three grandchildren, Damien Nicholas, Adyn Joseph, and Patience Michelle Jeffers.

To honor the wishes of Gay, no formal service will be held.
