With heavy hearts, we inform you of the passing of Geneivee Daniel Johnson on the 4th day of November, in the year 2023. She passed away in the presence of her family, with her daughter Terri by her side until her final breath.
Pink was her beloved color, representing love, kindness, and compassion, qualities well-known to her family and friends. To honor her memory, we kindly request that those attending the services wear something pink or incorporate a touch of this cherished color. She loved the lord and she loved her church, Vernon Foret Baptist. She will be greatly missed.
Geneivee Daniel Johnson, 85, was born on the 18th day of September, in the year 1938 in Oneida, TN to Herbert and Flaura Robbins Daniel.
Preceded in death by husband Hilbert Wayne Johnson, whom she had been married for nearly 50 years. Son, Anthony Wayne Johnson, sister, Mary Helen Tyrell, brothers, Junior, Johnny and Clifton, grandsons Philip Neal Clinard and Brian Allen Johnson.
Survived by her daughter, Terri Johnson Pierce and husband Bryant, brother, Ralph Daniel and wife Shirley, grandchildren, Robert Adam Clinard, Kayla Marie Pierce, Katrina Louise Johnson and great grandson Kristian Oxedine.

The family would like to especially thank Well Care Home Health for their services and Hospice Nurse Kyle Barrier.
The family will receive visitors from 12 – 1 PM at J.C. Green & Sons on the 8th day of November 2023. The service will be at 1 PM following the visitation at J.C. Green & Sons Wallburg Chapel, 10301 North NC Hwy 109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 with Pastor James M. Brown officiating.
The burial will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens on High Point Road immediately following the service.
