Mrs. Geneva Pauline Everhart Clodfelter, 93, of Thomasville, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center. She was born on November 2, 1931 in Davidson County, Midway, NC to Numa Clarence Everhart and Minnie Livengood Everhart. She was a member of Fairview Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, Youth Leader, and past member of the United Methodist Women. She worked in the cafeteria at Pilot Elementary School for many years and at Regan Knitting, but loved farming with her late husband, Donald.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Clodfelter on March 5, 2017, whom she married on April 8, 1949; her son, Ray Von Clodfelter on April 27, 2025; her brothers, Clandon, Ray, and Paul; and her sisters, Edna, Lucille, Esther, Kate, and Margie.
Surviving is her son, Dwight Clodfelter and wife Erin; two grandchildren, Jeremy Ray Clodfelter and wife Tracy and Jessica Renee Kirschner and husband Brandon; great-grandchildren, Hunter Clodfelter, Sarah Clodfelter, and Virginia Kirschner; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Church with Pastor Tony Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
