George Miller Obituary

Mr. George Allen Miller, 81, of Thomasville passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday July 16, 2020. George was born February 25, 1939 in Wilkes County to the late Foster Daniel Miller and Dora Burgess. George worked many years as a Sander in the Furniture Industry and retired from Davis Furniture in High Point. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Miller on August 20, 2007; one brother, Burl Dean Miller; three sisters; Evangeline Cockerham, Mable Miller, Barbara Bazen

Surviving is his daughter, Rebecca Seibert of the home; four granddaughters, Jennifer Litter and husband Frank, Erica Sadler, Eva Sadler and Hannah Seibert; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Litter and Ella Gore; two sisters, Clara Yates, Sterlia Bumgarner; and George’s special buddy, Jeffery Locklear.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery in High Point. The family will receive friends at the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville prior to the service from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
