Geraldine Nobles Marion

Geraldine Nobles Marion, 72, of Thomasville went home to be with Jesus on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

Geraldine was born May 22, 1951 to the late Nathan Woodrow Nobles and Ilean Altman Nobles in Loris, SC. She and her family moved to Thomasville where they made a home. Geraldine worked for Kayby Mills and was a faithful member of Amazing Grace Freewill Baptist Church. She was gifted in music, playing piano for the church and several local groups of the area. Family was first to Geraldine, making memoires with videos and pictures was her favorite. Her kindness, smile, humor, love of her family, and sweet spirit will never be forgotten.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her two brothers, Jerry Dean Nobles and Harold Woodrow Nobles. Surviving are her two beloved daughters, Loretta Nobles (Tony Mabe)  of Thomasville, Lisa Marie Marion of Chapel Hill; a granddaughter, Marie Huffman; two sisters, Judy N. Grainger of Thomasville, Wanda N. Rhodes (Ronnie) of Lexington; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel with Pastor Hillis Burton and Pastor Tim Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
