Mr. Glenn Berry Bryant, Jr., 92 a resident of Fuller Mill Road passed away Sunday October 25, 2020 at Abbotts Creek Care Center and Rehab. Glenn was born September 29, 1928 in Davidson County to the late Glenn Berry Bryant, Sr. and Lucy Saunders Bryant. Glenn was a life long member of Park Place Baptist Church. He served his country as a Korean War Veteran in the United States Army. He worked many years as a knitting room supervisor at Influential Hosiery. Glenn was very talented in woodworking, and could make anything. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Ruby Irene Bryant on March 23, 2017; two brothers, Lenoy Bryant, Bud Bryant; and one sister, Alice Bryant Fallenstein.
Surviving are one daughter, Jamie Kay Porter and husband Bruce of Thomasville, NC; one son, Jeff Bryant and wife Mary of High Point, NC; one sister, Loretta Porterfield of Thomasville, NC; four grandchildren, Lesley George and husband Michael of Lexington, NC, Kathryn Sepe and husband Tyler of Argyle, Texas, Patrick Porter and Kaylin "KK" Porter, both of Thomasville, NC; five great grandchildren, Makayla George, Yana-Leigh George, Vera George, Jonathan Sepe, Hannah Sepe.
A funeral service will be held Saturday October 31, 2020 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends and family at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville prior to the service from 12:30-1:45 PM.
