Gregory Alan Silvernail

Gregory Alan Silvernail, age 56, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025, while at Atrium Health Baptist Medical Center after an extended illness.  He was born on September 1, 1968, in Queens, New York, a son of Marjorie Kilian Silvernail and the late Ralph H. Silvernail.  Gregory was a sociable and charming man that loved to dance, play basketball, and work with computers.  He had been involved with the equestrian program and track &field of the Special Olympics. Gregory also participated in the Monarch NC Day Program for those with developmental disabilities.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph “Buddy” Silvernail, and Henry A. Silvernail; and a nephew, Nicholas A. Silvernail

Gregory is survived by his mother, Marjorie Silvernail of Winston-Salem; brother, Joe Silvernail (Ann Marie) of High Point; sister, Lee-Ann Ronin of High Point; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at J.C. Green and Sons Wallburg Chapel with Reverend Peter Rusciolelli officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Wallburg.  Memorial gifts may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 4A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
