Harold Lee Lequire

Harold Lee Lequire, 80, of Denton passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice Home in Salisbury. Harold was born November 19, 1945 in Macon County to the late Dewey Lequire and Zenie Lequire. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked many years as a talented mechanic. Harold enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Owen Lequire on August 10, 2025; six brothers, Jack Lequire, Carroll Lequire, Charlie Lequire, Don Lequire, Jim Lequire, and Robert Lequire.

Surviving is his one daughter, Celena Martin and husband Scott of Denton; three grandchildren, Casey Deel and husband Cory, Amber Yates and husband Scott, and Brentley Martin and wife Haley; and eight great-grandchildren, Colby Deel, Daelyn Bean, Emma Bean, Lainey Yates, Kylee Yates, Emilyn Hunt, Weston Martin, and Hattie Martin; two sisters, Karen Lequire and Clara Harrison.
