Harold Ray Tuttle, 78, of Kernersville went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 16, 2026 at Summerstone Health of Kernersville.
Harold was born March 13, 1947, son of the late Harold Rufus Tuttle and Helen Michaels Tuttle in Guilford County. Following his graduation from High Point Central High School, Harold served his country in the United States Army. He was an active member of Bunker Hill United Methodist Church in Kernersville where he used his God given talent to sing and was active as a layperson helping others. Harold retired from Old Dominion Freight Line as a truck driver. After his retirement, he was a volunteer for High Point and Kernersville Medical Centers and later helped in surgical reception.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie McCracken.
Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Jerry Johnson Tuttle; his son, Tim Tuttle of Kernersville; two grandchildren, Timothy Chase Tuttle and Lauren Marie Tuttle; a brother, Donald Tuttle; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 20, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville. Burial will follow at Zion Church Thomasville Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
