Hazel (McClamrock) Thomas

Mrs. Hazel McClamrock Thomas, 89, a resident of Winston-Salem, passed away November 19, 2021.

Mrs. Thomas was born October 11, 1932 in Davie County, NC a daughter of the late Albert McClamrock and the late Flossie Right McClamrock. A resident of this area most of her life she was a homemaker, a member of Salem Baptist Church and was director of children’s church for twenty years. Mrs. Thomas was a super wife to her husband, Burton and a loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On March 10, 1951 she married Robert Burton Thomas who survives of the home.

Also surviving are her sons, Samuel Gray Thomas of Walkertown, Nathan Ray Thomas (Barbara) and Jonathan Glen Thomas (Diane) all of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;

her sister, Gladys Hudson of Mocksville.
