It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Heather Michelle Peninger Varner, 32, of Thomasville who left the world Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her residence.
Heather was born May 10, 1993 to Garry Peninger and Debra Reid Peninger in Davidson County. She was a proud graduate of Central Davidson High School, Class of 2011, where she was active in sports. Heather had a deep love for life’s simple joys. She especially cherished celebrating holidays with her loved ones and found peace and happiness camping with her family. Above all, Heather’s most cherished role was that of a mother. She adored her daughter and loved her with an unwavering, unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Homer and Marie Peninger; maternal grandparents, Thomas Reid and Maureen Alexander.
In addition to her parents, Heather leaves behind her husband and best friend, Brad, and their beautiful daughter, Kinsleigh — both of whom were the center of her world and the greatest joys of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Chad Peninger (Jennifer), and treasured nieces, McKinley and Tempe; her special uncle, Tim Reid (Tammy), and their children, Matt and Addison. Heather was deeply loved by her in-laws, Doyle and Kathy Varner, and her brother-in-law, Adam (Haley), Kevin (Kristen), and Joyle Varner.
