Imogene (Rudisill) Deal

Mrs. Imogene Rudisill Deal, 89, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Mt. Vista Health Park in Denton. She was born on April 24, 1932 in Thomasville to the late Carl Lester Rudisill and Mildred Chisholm Rudisill. Imogene loved people and touched many hearts during her life. She had a passion for working with the flowers in her yard, interior decorating, and a love for sewing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Roger Henry Deal, and sister, Helen Everhart.

Surviving are her one daughter, Donna Deal of Thomasville; two sons, Mike Deal (Teresa) of Thomasville, and Gary Deal of Los Alamitos, CA; three grandchildren, Shannon Dowell (Alisa), Allison Pupuhi, and Holland Wilbanks (Nicole); seven great-grandchildren, Sean, Dustin, Skyler, Sydney, Emma, Abigail, and Pearce; two sisters, Doris “Dot” Russell (Lawrence) of Thomasville, and Patricia “Pat” Long of Ramseur; and brother-in-law, Leon Deal of Austinville, VA.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Thomasville City Cemetery with Rev. Bynum Orr officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. The family would like to thank the staff of Mt.
