Infant Olivia Vera Mae Mills

Olivia Vera Mae Mills, beloved child of Matthew Ryan Mills and Taylor Rae Gordon Mills, was born Friday, January 23, 2026 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center and passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Brenner Children’s Hospital in her parent’s arms. Though she only lived a few precious hours, her life brought immeasurable love and forever changed the hearts of those that held her close. Olivia will always be remembered and loved deeply. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Patricia Wood Bolen, Mitchel and Eileen Mills, and Geraldine Gordon.

Surviving are her loving parents, Matthew and Taylor Mills of the home; grandparents, Stephen and Donna Gordon and Maurice and Vera Mills; great-grandfathers, Ray Bolen and Alvin Gordon; her aunts and uncles, Brittany Aultman and husband Cody and James Mills and wife Taylor; her cousins, Liam Mills, Wesley Mills, Raelynn Aultman, Everlee Aultman, Addison Aultman, and Alayna Aultman.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Dr. Steve Chipps officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
