Infant Sydney Grace Hastings, was welcomed into the world on May 26, 2026 and will forever be cherished by those who loved her. Born to Brant Kendall Hastings and Jordan Sydney Ellington. Though her time on earth was brief, Sydney's life touched the hearts of her family and loved ones, and her memory will be treasured always.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Suzanne Brown and Ricky Ellington; paternal grandparents, Joanna and Coy Berrier and Bart Hastings; maternal great-grandfather, George Brown; paternal great-grandmother, Hannah Brink; one brother, Lucas Hastings; two sisters, Olivia Hastings and Madison Hastings.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville with Rev. Mike Orman officiating.
