Mrs. Iris Gwendolyn Hinkle Haltom, 85 of Thomasville passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Hospice Home at High Point. Iris was born November 15, 1935 to the late Lafayette Hinkle and Mary Rachel Hendrix in Davidson County. Iris worked many years as a secretary at Wesleyan Arms Nursing Center. Along with her parents she was preceded in death her husband, Voyt Thurman Haltom on September 18, 2016; one sister, Juanita Batten; one brother, Clyde Hinkle.

Surviving are two sons, Mark Haltom and wife LuAn Hobson and Scott Haltom and wife Joni; three grandchildren, Erin Haltom, Naomi Halton and Ava White; and a special niece and nephew, Debbie Marker and husband Jeffery.
