Jack R. Cagle

Mr. Jack R. Cagle, 88, of Thomasville, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his home.  He was born in Davidson County, NC to James Daniel (J.D.) Cagle and Zorada Lee Russell Cagle.  He was a US Army veteran and worked for John H. Brinkley Construction and retired from APAC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd, Wayne, Joe Don, Bud, and Rusty Cagle; and his sisters, Lucille Gibson, Sylvia Ward, and Lalah Kennedy.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy Church Cagle, of the home; also surviving is his daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Hughes and husband Richie of Galax, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Lisa Johnston officiating.  The family will greet friends immediately following the graveside service.  Mr. Cagle will remain at the J.C.
