James Andrew Metcalf

James Andrew Metcalf, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 29, 2025.  He was born on October 2, 1985 in Forsyth County to Cindy Styers Metcalf and Dorin Wayne Metcalf.  James loved music and artistic drawing.  He will be remembered for his big heart and sense of humor.  James was well liked and known as a great guy by all that knew him. His adult life was faced with internal struggles and he is now at peace.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children, Shiloh Metcalf and her mother, Tiffany Harris, and Dylan Metcalf and his mother, Brie Metcalf; grandmother, Betty Metcalf; aunt and uncle, Butch and Wayne Pope; aunt, Faith Ann Gentry; uncles, Gary and Brandon Metcalf; and special cousin, Brittany Mitchell.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
