James Allen (Tinker) Laine Obituary
Mr. James Allen (Tinker) Laine, 55, of Thomasville, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at his home. He was born on June 14, 1967 in Davidson County, NC to James Edward Laine and Josephine (Jo) Poff Laine Hardison. He worked in the construction industry and loved working on cars, collecting “Hot Wheels”, riding motorcycles, working out, and weightlifting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Curtis Laine.
Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Tonya Renee Soles Laine of the home; daughter, Ashley Michelle Moore; sons, Jonathan David Manning (Stephanie), and Bruce Allen Laine; special bonus sons, Daniel Reed, Dillion Simmons, Ben Steed, and Jonah Craven; brothers, Ronnie Lee Laine and Terry Lee Laine; sister, Rose Skipper; and eight grandchildren, Natalie, Payton, Dylan, Brynlee, Paysley, Ian, Paxon, and Kysen.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 4:00 PM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Roger Carmichael officiating.
