James Larry Cranford

James Larry Cranford, 76, of Thomasville passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Piedmont Crossing. James was born December 24, 1949 in Davidson County to the late James Franklin Cranford and Mabel Thornburg Cranford. He worked many years as a Chemical Operator. James never met a stranger; he enjoyed talking with people and visiting. He loved going to the beach and spending time with his beloved family. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by Robert “Bobby Joe” Cranford.

Surviving are his two sons, Christopher Cranford and Sean Cranford (Heather Bennett); one brother, Tommy D. Cranford and wife Rhonda F. Cranford; one grandson, Joshua Cranford. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville with Pastor Tom Fields officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville from 12:30 PM-1:30 PM. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
