Mrs. Janet “Angela” Harper Landreth, 60, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her home. She was born on November 16, 1959 in Bethesda, Maryland to Jordan Autry Harper and Elaine Stewart Harper. Angela was very active in Girl Scouts in her younger years and she enjoyed her job as a CNA. She loved her grandchildren dearly and had a passion for cross-stitching, doing little crafts, and researching genealogy. She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Duane Douglas Landreth; her father, Jordan Autry Harper; and two brothers, Jerry and Jay Harper.
Surviving are her mother, Elaine Harper of Danville, VA; her daughter, Diana Landreth Carter and husband Mike of Thomasville; one son, James Landreth and wife Crystal of Thomasville; stepson, Jason Landreth of Trinity; four grandchildren, James W. Landreth, Jr, Cristallia Landreth, Zander Landreth, and Carolyne Landreth; her identical twin, Janice Trent; her sister, Joyce Brinegar, both of High Point; one brother, Jeff Harper and wife Debbie of Trinity; and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com
