Janice Young Lambeth

Janice Young Lambeth, 68, of Thomasville, NC passed away peacefully on February 19, 2021, at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, NC.  Despite her long battle with Alzheimer's, she remained the sweet and happy person everyone knew her to be until the very end.

Janice was born on February 25th, 1952 in Thomasville, NC.  She was the daughter of Foyell Warren Young and Ruth Jarrett Young.

She is survived by her husband, William "Rod" Lambeth; son, Christian (Lesley) Bailey of High Point, NC; daughter, Brittany (Jeffrey) Alexander of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Lila Bailey; brother Philip (Debbie) Young of Thomasville, NC; nephew, Stephen (Sheila) Young of Thomasville, NC; niece Amber Young of Thomasville, NC; and great nephew Stephen Young, Jr. of Thomasville.  She also loved her grandpets, which she has too many to mention by name.

Janice was a loving wife, mother, and Nana that adored walking on the beach, reading books, shopping and sharing a good meal with her family. She never met a pair of flip flops she didn't love or a sale that she could turn down. Her warmhearted, amiable personality afforded her many lifelong friends. However, it was her love of family that kept her going in her final days.  

She lived as she taught her children, by the golden rule.  She understood what was important in life and never had a bad word to say about anyone.  Perhaps this is the reason she stopped aging at 45.  Janice was a beautiful person inside and out and her full life was a canvas painted with every color in the spectrum.  She will be deeply missed by everyone that was lucky enough to have known her.
