Janice Louise (Jones) Teague

Janice Louise Jones Teague, 70 of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

Janice was born May 21, 1955, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky (Campbell County) a daughter of the late Calvin James Jones and the late Helen Louise Vance Jones. Janice grew up in Panama City, Florida and attended Florida State University where she received a bachelor's degree. She worked at NC Wake Forest Baptist Hospital for over 20 years. She loved animals especially cats. Janice lived in Wallburg, NC for over 25 years. Her hobbies were cooking, reading, music and interacting with her family and cats. She possessed a big heart and was always giving to others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Calvin Jones and a sister, Joyce Leigh Jones.

Surviving is her husband Richard Allen Teague of the home whom she married February 20, 1982, her sons, Aaron Teague of Charlotte, NC   Adam Teague of Greenville, NC; her sister, Jennifer Womack and her husband Andrew of Panama City, FL and also her four cats.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel,10301 N. NC Highway 109, Winston-Salem, NC (Wallburg Community) 27107 with Pastor Chris Byrne officiating. In remembrance of Janice, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Davidson County, 1120 Piedmont Drive, Lexington, NC 27295.
