Mr. Jason “Jay” Eugene Hancock, 40, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. He was born on November 28, 1979 to Bobby “Ace” Paul Hancock and Wanda Hollifield Hancock. Jay had a love for being outdoors doing yard work, painting, and fixing things.
He is survived by his parents, Bobby “Ace” Hancock and Wanda Hollifield Hancock; five children, Distiny and fiancé Dannie Akers, Hailey, Jayson, Khloe, and Jayden Hancock; granddaughter, Kensleigh Akers; brother, Jerry Wayne “Tinker” Kindley; sister, Angel H. Long; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the JC Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. John Hill officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Hughes Grove Baptist Church.
