Jean Smith Lambert

Jean Smith Lambert, went home to her Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, surrounded by loving family. She was born on September 2, 1947, in Wallburg, NC.  She was predeceased by her husband Jerry Lambert; her parents Harper Lorenzo and Ina Blanche Smith; brothers Charles and George Smith; a sister Margaret Hilton; and a nephew Tony Hilton.

She is survived by nieces Beth Muter and husband John, Melanie Smith; nephew Rodney Smith and partner Jaime Hernandez; great nephew Zack Binkley and wife Samantha and their daughter Caelynne; and sister-in-law Martha Smith. Also, her beloved canine companion “LUNA”.

Jean was truly a unique person! She was classy, sassy, fashion-minded, and loved her high heels and jewelry. She was always welcoming to new people, fun-loving and enjoyed every minute of life. Jean was always smiling, laughing or joking. She loved working in her yard and decorating her home. Jean will be greatly missed by all!

Through our grief we can find the blessing of peace as her body is whole again in heaven.  We love you Jean!

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville.  The family will greet friends beginning at Noon prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will immediately follow the service at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery in High Point.  Memorials in Jean’s honor may be flowers or Donations to Hospice of High Point 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
