Jeffrey Scott Carver

Mr. Jeffrey “Scott” Carver, age 48, a resident of Colleen Dr. passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 at his residence. He was born Jan. 23, 1972 in Guilford County, NC the son of Donald Wayne Carver and Deborah Ann Watkins Carver. Scott was a graduate of North East Guilford High School and was employed with the City of Archdale. He attended Philadelphia Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. Scott was an avid fan of the Carolina Tarheels, New York Yankees and Washington Redskins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Gaynelle Watkins; paternal grandmother, Myrtle Carver. Surviving is his wife, Angela Cox Carver of the home; his mother, Deborah Ann Watkins Busam of Brown Summit; his father, Donald “Don” Carver and wife Sandy of Reidsville; his son, Nathan Carver of Greensboro; his step-daughter, Christina Causey and husband Bill of High Point; his step-son, Travis Edwards of Thomasville; favorite sister, Heather Soles and husband Jerry of Thomasville; brother, Matthew Busam of Manhattan; two nephews, Noah “Hero” Soles and Nick “Little Man” Soles both of Thomasville; two granddaughters, Sophia Currin and Caroline Causey.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 6:00 PM at the J.C. Green & Sons chapel in Thomasville, NC with Rev. Joe Chandler officiating.
