Jennie Marie “Pedy” Hunt, 48, of Denton passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro surrounded by her loving family. Jennie was born April 28, 1977 in Guilford County to Charlie Evertte Hunt and Jennie Cartrette Hunt. She worked many years in the furniture industry, doing everything from finishing to upholstery. She loved to garden, work on cars and attending children’s sporting events. Her greatest joy was loving and caring for her family. Jennie was preceded in death by her father Charlie Everette Hunt; her son, Damian Lee Taylor; granddaughter, Waverly Marie Taylor; nephew, Christopher Golden.
Surviving are her children, Brittany Lynn Taylor and boyfriend Andrew Liverett, Jennie Lynn Moore and husband Jaren, and “her boys”, Levi, Jaxon and Hunter; her companion of over thirty years and father of her children, Brian Taylor; her mother, Jennie Cartrette Hunt; three sisters, Michelle Alexander and husband Jimmy “Tiny”, Priscilla Spivey and husband Jeff, and Twila Hunt; she also leaves behind many “adopted children”, along with nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 6:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Carroll Cullipher officiating.
