Jerry Carlyle Gardner

Jerry Carlyle Gardner, Sr., passed away peacefully at his home on January 21, 2021 at the age of 77.  Jerry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rhonda Gardner. Their two sons, Jerry Gardner, Jr. and Tommy Gardner; and two grandsons, Tommy Gardner, Jr. and Dalton Gardner.

Jerry was an active man his whole life, from serving in the Navy Seabees during Vietnam to returning home, starting his own business which he actively ran for 50 years as well as the facilities manager for High Point University for many years. Those who knew him can tell you, if he was not working, he was not happy.

He was a loyal husband, devoted father and grandfather, honest leader and an unwavering provider for his family as well as a faithful servant to the Lord.  He will forever be in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Berean Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Ronnie Baity officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com
