Jerry Wayne Wishon

Mr. Jerry Wayne Wishon, 90 of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Jerry was born February 22, 1935, in Forsyth County (Winston-Salem), NC, a son of the late Odell Aaron Wishon and the late Addie Kiger Wishon. Jerry was a machinist for R.J Reynolds and loved playing golf. He was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church and attended Faith Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tony Lee Carter; a daughter Trina Renee Trivette; a brother and five sisters.

Surviving is his wife, Virgie Hayes Wishon of the home; his sons, Kevin Wayne Wishon of Winston-Salem, Kenneth Wayne Carter and his wife Michelle of Midway; his daughter Tami Dian Wishon of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel, (Wallburg)10301 N. NC Highway 109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 with Rev. T.W. Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
