Jerry Wayne Hagee Obituary

Mr. Jerry Wayne Hagee, 66, a resident of Friendship-Ledford Road, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born on August 15, 1954 in Wytheville, VA to Robert Clyde Hagee and Leona Ruth Sharitz Hagee.  He graduated from Ledford Senior High School and was a self-employed carpenter in the construction industry.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Kennedy; and sister-in-law, Linda Hagee.

On March 31, 1973, he married Beverly Ann Craven, who survives of the home; also surviving is his daughter, Tracy Hagee Asbill and husband Bill of Winston-Salem; his son, Chris Hagee and wife Jenny of High Point; brothers, Billy Hagee and wife Melissa and Charlie Hagee and wife Joan, all of Thomasville; sister, Nancy Graham and husband Randy of Thomasville; grandchildren, Blane Asbill, Maddie Hagee, and Sallie Hagee; brother-in-law, Joe Kennedy of Thomasville; and special friend, Mike Cridlebaugh.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Joe D. Coltrane officiating.  Mr. Hagee will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home, 10301 N. NC Highway 109, Winston-Salem until taken to the cemetery 30 minutes prior to the service.  Mr. Hagee will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM and Friday, September 11, 2020 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM for members of the community to pay their respects.  Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
