Jewel "Judy" (Allen) Cude

Jewel “Judy” Allen Cude, 79, of Shoals, NC passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021. She resided in Winston-Salem since she was nineteen years old. The Lord has added our family’s precious Jewel to Heaven on Valentine’s Day. Judy worked in management in the retail business for various department stores and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. Judy was born in Surry County, NC a daughter of the late Henry Lee Allen and the late Climmie May Flynn Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

Surviving is her husband, Jimmie "Jim" E. Cude of Winston-Salem; her daughter, Angela Cude Hayworth of Winston-Salem; Sister-in-law and family Rebecca Allen of Pfafftown.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Magnolia Creek Assisted Living Memory Care Unit. Also, a very special heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of Trellis Supportive Care.

Due to the COVID-19 virus, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Cheryl Cottingham officiating. There will not be a visitation. J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Winston-Salem (Wallburg Community) is assisting the Cude family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to Immanuel New Eden Moravian Church, 3680 Old Lexington Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
