Jimmy Gray (James) Journey Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Gray Journey, 85, a resident of Light Road, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at his home. He was born on August 27, 1936 in Surry County, NC to Fred Journey and Maude Hall Journey. He worked in the furniture industry the majority of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Annette Barnes Journey on April 30, 2019; and his daughter, Michelle Journey.

Surviving are his sons, Rick Journey, Tim Journey, and Paul Jason Whicker; daughter, Paula Annette Bowman; grandchildren, Beth, Tiffany, Payton, Thomas, Elijah, Cam, Haley, Christan, and Bayleigh; and great-grandchildren, AJ, Alaina, and Keeden.

No formal services will be held.
