Mr. Jody Rogers, 58, of Horseshoe Neck Road, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
Jody was born on October 10, 1961 to the late George Allen Rogers and Georgia Ann Craver Rogers in Newport News, VA. He worked for many years in the construction industry. Jody will be remembered for his kindness, outgoing personality, genuine heart, strong will, love of family, love of animals, “wheeling and dealing” at local flea markets, and being a stranger to none. Jody was also a lover of nature, and a modern-day cowboy. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Kimberly.
Surviving are his loving wife, Crystal Annette Rogers of the home; two children, Brandon (Bubba) Rogers and wife Jesica of Denton, Cassandra Parker and husband Bobby of Thomasville; three brothers, Jeff Rogers of Wallburg, Chris Rogers and wife Lynnette of Thomasville, J.P. Rogers and wife Mitzie of Farmington; two granddaughters, Brandice and Rilyn; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jody will remain at the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Sunday from 1:00 – 7:00 PM for public viewing. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville with Pastor Ken Norman officiating.
