John Bradley McNeil, Jr Obituary

Mr. John Bradley McNeil Jr, a resident of Lexington, passed away on June 28, 2026 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. He was born on February 14, 1949 in Troy, NC to his parents, the late John Bradley McNeil, Sr. and Ila Juanita Blue McNeil Workman. John worked over 30 years with Alma Desk Company in High Point and retired from a division of Hatteras Yachts as a manager. He was a longtime member of New Beginnings UMC in Thomasville. In his younger years he enjoyed playing golf with his wife and going fishing.


Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Debbie Clodfelter McNeil of the home; one son, John “Aaron” McNeil of Winston-Salem; and his sister, Crystal Myers and husband Don of High Point.


A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM at New Beginnings UMC (609 Liberty Drive, Thomasville, NC) with Rev. Shane McIntosh, III officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 12:45 to 1:45 PM at the church. Burial will follow services at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to New Beginnings UMC, PO Box 1860, Thomasville, NC 27361 or Alderwood of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
