Johnny Crawford Burchett

Mr. Johnny Crawford Burchett, 62, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 29, 2025, at his home in Thomasville, in his mother’s arms.  Johnny was born on October 8, 1962 in Guilford County, NC to Faye Byerly Burchett and the late Samuel Burchett.  Johnny loved to lay in the sunshine and watching his “twirlies” spin in the wind.  He liked to watch “The Price is Right” with his mom and play with his neighbor Able.  Johnny will be dearly missed by his family, especially his mother, who cared for him all his life. 

Johnny is survived by his mother, Faye Burchett of the home; two brothers, Sammy Dwayne Burchett and Jerry Linwood Burchett; a sister, Cynthia Lynn Countess; his caregiver Sahara Dolhover and John Johnson. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church Cemetery 222 Mt. Zion Church Road, Thomasville, NC, with Pastor Luke Jackson officiating.  Memorials in Johnny’s honor may be given to Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation 30 Tower Lane # 400, Avon, CT 06001.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at  www.jcgreenandsons.com.
