Joseph Samuel (Joe) Trotter

Mr. Joseph Samuel Trotter, 82, of the Midway Community passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 while at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born on January 13, 1941 in Randolph County to the late Troy and Bernice McDowell Trotter.  Joe loved to travel and enjoyed the camping lifestyle.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, and a son-in-law.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Jessie Trotter of the home; two daughters, Lisa Leonard and husband Buddy of Myrtle Beach, and Janice Jenson of Greensboro; grandson, Jeffery Leonard; great-granddaughter, Samantha Leonard; and special friend, Charles Payne.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at J.C. Green and Sons funeral home chapel with Rev. Brian Cole officiating.  Entombment will follow at the Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
