Mr. Joshua Dell McDaniels, 23 a resident of Thomasville passed away on September 10, 2021 at his home. He was born in Guilford County on February 12, 1998, a beautiful son to Andrea Simone Lang. Josh spent most of his working career in the lawncare industry which was no surprise considering that the outdoors was his second home. He loved hunting and fishing just to name a couple of very many activities he enjoyed doing in the beauty of nature. Josh had a magnetic personality and his laughter, smile and eyes would light up a room in an instant. He lived life to the fullest and never took one day for granted. He lived as if it was his last with such a beautiful old soul. He was always a country boy at heart and was a loving son, brother, uncle and all-around good person. He will be remembered for all of these traits as well as his heart of gold. He was preceded in death by his grandma, (Oma) Heidi Matthews.
He is survived by his mother, Andrea Simone Lang of Silver Valley; sister, Brandi Denae Holloway of Thomasville; nephews, Cason and Preston; niece, Malorie also of Thomasville; grandpa, Eddie Matthews of Archdale; aunts, Patricia Dreyer (Michael), Jasmin Kloos (Uwe) all of Germany, Brenda Loden (Terry) of Trinity and Corina Lewallen (Gary) of Thomasville; cousins, Alexander, Chrissi and Thomas of Germany, Brandon, Cody and Tori of Trinity and Abby and Trevor of Thomasville. He also leaves behind father, Jimmy Dell McDaniels; grandmother, Lorraine McDaniels and aunt, Judy Stone (Roger). In addition, Josh leaves his fur baby Leo and many beloved extended family members and friends.
A Gathering of Friends to celebrate Josh’s life will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at J C Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Please bring your fondest memories of Josh with you, and share with his family.
