Joy Ann Sullivan Motsinger, 75, of Thomasville passed away Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025 at Piedmont Crossing.
Joy was born June 26, 1949 to the late Jack Terry Sullivan, Sr. and Clara Lee Nance Sullivan in Guilford County. She worked in customer service for many years in the furniture industry and was a lifelong resident of Davidson County. Joy was a member of First Methodist Church in Thomasville and was later baptized at New Testament Baptist Church in Lexington. She enjoyed her time working at Thomasville Furniture, enjoyed cross stitching, and the women’s bible studies at Pinedale Church in Winston-Salem. Joy served the Lord and faithfully shared the gospel with all who would hear it.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jay Stephen Motsinger of Lexington; daughter, Jennifer S. Corriher of Lexington; a brother, Jack Terry Sullivan, Jr. of Jamestown.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Pastor Joel Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
